First Look
The very first hello. A gentle look to find the heartbeat, to see how many are in there, and to take a small measurement so that you have a number to hold onto between your provider’s appointments.
Many women book this one simply because the wait feels impossibly long. If your first prenatal appointment is still weeks away, this is a sweet, unhurried chance to see your baby and hear that heartbeat sooner. I put the sound on the speakers so you can listen for yourself.

Reassurance Peek
For the quiet weeks in between, when restlessness creeps in and you just need to see for yourself. A short, unhurried look at the heartbeat, the movement and where baby is lying.
This is the session I am most protective of. There is no limit on how often you may book — coming back as often as you need is simply part of how this works. If seeing your baby once a fortnight is what lets you sleep, then that is what we shall do, and I will be glad every single visit.

Pink or Blue?
No blood draw, no waiting on a laboratory, no envelope arriving from a stranger. We look together, on the screen, in a warm little studio, and you find out in the same moment I do.
We begin at sixteen weeks for a reason. Earlier than that the anatomy is genuinely ambiguous, and I would far rather tell you nothing at all than tell you something you go on to paint a nursery over. If baby is curled away from us and I am not certain, I will simply say so, rather than guess, and we will talk about the best next step together.

Hello, Soon!
A little extra time with your baby before the big hello. As you get closer to meeting your little one, those final weeks can feel like a beautiful mix of excitement, anticipation, and sometimes a little uncertainty. Hello, Soon! was created especially for those moments when you just want a little reassurance and the chance to see your baby again.
Come slow down, soak in those precious moments, and enjoy seeing the little face you’ve been dreaming about. Because sometimes, you just need to see your baby one more time and hear that little heartbeat to remind you that your long awaited hello is getting closer.
- Twenty-seven to thirty weeks is the loveliest window — enough softness under baby’s skin, and still enough fluid in front of the face to see through
- Call too early or too late and I will gently say so, even if it means we visit you a little later

The Heartbeat Keepsake
We record about twenty seconds of your baby’s heartbeat straight from the machine while you listen, and then install the little recorder button into a plush animal you choose — a bear, a lion, an elephant, a giraffe, a hippo, a fox, a monkey, a unicorn, etc. Squeeze the paw, and there it is.
The recorders last for something like ten thousand plays, and the button tucks into a small pocket in the toy, so you can take it out before a wash and tuck it right back in after.

These are, without much competition, the thing that undoes grandmothers most completely. Do consider yourself warned before you hand one over at Thanksgiving.
What these sessions are not
Every session on this page is elective and non-diagnostic — for bonding, and for joy. We do not perform anatomy surveys, we do not measure fluid for a clinical purpose, we do not assess placental position for your delivery, and we do not give medical advice. We recommend you are under the care of a licensed prenatal provider to be scanned here.
That said — if something ever looks like it should be checked by your own provider, I will tell you calmly and privately, and recommend you schedule with them as soon as possible. I am never able to diagnose anything myself — that is always their call to make.
